Disc Spinner DJs is a subscriber to several different professional DJ music supply services.
These services send out their CDs once a month to DJs across the country to supply them with
current hits before they are avaliable in stores. Also featured on these CDs are clean radio
edits of songs, exclusive remixes, and special DJ only songs that will never be sold in stores.
These CDs are for DJs only, and are illegal to sell. This is an advantage to hiring a
professional DJ for your event. You can rest assured that we will come prepared with a music
selection to suit your needs. While we do still buy commercially avaliable CDs from stores, the
majority of the music we play is featured on these promotional discs. The services we currently
subscribe to are:

Culture Shock
Since we perform for all different age groups, all of these services feature clean versions of
songs with offensive lyrics edited out. Some songs, even with lyrics edited are still not appropriate
for certain crowds or situations, so they will not be played. Any special requests of songs you wish
to hear, or wish not to hear can be taken before or during the event.
While music downloading on the internet is popular these days, it does not make it legal. Disc Spinner
DJs does not download any copyrighted materials for use at events. Yes, we do have copied CDs, but only
of CDs that we own the original. In cases where we do use copied CDs, the original is kept as an archival
copy and not used.
